The 2nd annual Haliburton Highlands Health and Wellness Expo is being held in Head Lake Park on Saturday, July 15th from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. The Municipality of Dysart et al invites sealed Bids from qualified General Contractors for the DYSART MUNICIPAL OFFICE ADDITION located at 135 Maple Avenue, Haliburton, Ontario  Documents available for download free of charge at http://www.dysartetal.ca/portfolio-view/contract-and-employment-opportunities/ .  Alternatively, paper copies will be available upon request with a refundable deposit.  A non-mandatory bidder’s briefing was held on Thursday, June 29nd, 2017 at the project site. Bids will be accepted no later than Thursday, July 20th, 2017 (was July 13th)  at 2:00 PM, local time. This project will require a performance security, but not necessarily a performance bond. Open Gym Basketball

                The Municipality of Dysart et al would like to extend a big thank you to basketball enthusiast Gordon Cochrane for volunteering his time and organizing pick-up basketball this summer.  Gordon has organized a group of dedicated volunteers to help with this popular program. Youth ages 11-18 are encouraged to take part in this drop-in program.  The program is offered Wednesdays & Fridays from July 12th – August 18th at the Haliburton Highlands Secondary School Athletic Complex from 5:00 – 7:00 pm. This is a great way to have some fun and exercise!
