Draft Amendments to the Evergreen Cemetery By-Law 2021-34

Staff have made administrative updates to the Evergreen Cemetery Maintenance and Management By-Law in order to define spring burial timelines, incorporate requirements from the funeral homes, specify who has to pay for winter storage and clarify that individuals stored over the winter months in the vault must be embalmed.

The revised by-law will be brought to the November 28, 2023 meeting of Regular Council for passing. For further information, please review the staff report detailing the proposed updates.
