Licence your dog, it’s their ticket home!

  The Municipality of Dysart et al requires all dogs be licenced and the 2019 tags are ready for purchase. The annual fee is $10.00 per dog.  Applications can be accessed on our website under the By-Law Enforcement & Licence tab or in person at the Municipal Office. We are located at 135 Maple Avenue, Haliburton, ON.  Please be sure to get your licence today.  Remember: Dogs get out, Licences get them home!...

Start your New Year Snowshoeing

SAVE THE DATE!!!!Start the New Year by being active and try snowshoeing.  Meet at the parking lot of the Haliburton Highlands Museum on February 4 at 1:30 p.m. to explore the snowshoe trails located behind the museum. Dysart Staff go back to HHSS

Last Thursday, a few representatives of Dysart et al went back to school.  Councillor Nancy Wood-Roberts, Director Of Planning and Development Jeff Iles, By-law Enforcment Officer Kristen Boylan and CAO Tamara Wilbee attended Careers Class at HHSS.  Dysart staff and council members have been participating in this program with HHSS for the past eight years and always look forward to the opportunity to speak with local youth about the local opportunities available to work towards careers in Municpal government.   They ask tons of great questions and are really engaged and we never have enough time.    Students were encouraged to reach out to Municpal Staff for opportunities for summer jobs, Coop placements and volunteer work to help develop their resumes and get a foot in the door.   Any students considering a municipal career are encouraged to come in...
