EFFECTIVE SATURDAY, MAY 16th: KENNISIS LAKE AND WEST BAY LANDFILLS WILL REOPEN TO THE PUBLIC

Following the advice of Ontario’s Chief Medical Officer of Health, the Province has begun to ease pandemic restrictions. In light of this, Dysart’s Emergency Control Group has made the decision to open the Kennisis Lake and West Bay landfills effective Saturday, May 16th. For the safety of staff and visitors, cash transactions will not be permitted and only household waste and recycling will be accepted at this time. It is important that our sites operate safely during this time, so please remember to respect social distancing rules and maintain a 2 metre buffer around others when visiting the landfill.
