Great Haliburton Clothing Swap

Drop-off clean and gently-used clothing and accessories in the Great Hall of Fleming College Haliburton School of Art + Design297 College Drive, Haliburton:

  • 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday, September 28 through to Thursday, October 1, 2026

Items accepted:

  • Clothing in good condition (no odours, broken hardware (e.g. zippers), holes, missing buttons, etc.)
  • Accessories in good condition (for example, paired shoes, jewelry, bags, hats, etc.).
  • If you wouldn't be excited to give it to a friend, it probably shouldn't be swapped.
  • If you have extra clothes hangers, these would be greatly appreciated. 

Items NOT accepted:

  • Undergarments
  • Bed linens
  • Books
  • Toys
  • Household goods
  • Sports equipment (for example, skates, hockey equipment)
  • Helmets

Pick-up, at no cost, clean and gently-used clothing! First come, first serve! While supplies last. 

Participants are encouraged to make conscientious decisions about the clothing they take to avoid creating extra waste.

During the Great Haliburton Clothing Swap, there will be demonstrations of sewing repair, visible mending, thrift fashion, and upcycling. Look for more details closer to the event.

Any clothing remaining at the end of the Great Haliburton Clothing Swap will be picked up for reuse and recycling by Dysart's textile recycler.

On Saturday, October 3, 2026, the Municipality of Dysart et al and Fleming College are excited to host the third annual Great Haliburton Clothing Swap!

This event is held in the Great Hall of the Haliburton School of Art + Design, 297 College Drive, Haliburton.

There is no cost to participate.

Clothing, accessories, jewelry and shoes in good condition can be dropped off at the college as donation between September 28th and October 1st.
