Public Works Equipment Operator

The successful applicants’ primary duties include, but not limited to operations of a sidewalk plow, dump truck (with sander/snowplow), backhoe, loader and grader.  A valid Ontario ‘A’ or ‘D’ licence (manual) with ‘Z’ endorsement is required along with an acceptable abstract.  Pursuant to CUPE Local #2142 the rate of pay is $29.89 per hour based on a 40-hour work week.  Pension and Benefits after a 6-month probationary period.

Upon final selection, the applicant will be required to provide, at their own expense, a Criminal Record and Judicial Matters check from the Ontario Provincial Police or appropriate police force.
