West Guilford Waste Disposal Site will temporarily pause acceptance of materials belonging in the construction and demolition waste stream

West Guilford Waste Disposal Site has temporarily paused the acceptance of materials placed in the construction and demolition waste stream, we will resume acceptance no later than September 29th. This closure is necessary to complete required work. 

The Haliburton Waste Disposal Site (222 Industrial Park Road) will be operating on Tuesdays temporarily from 8am - 5pm.

Women's Soccer Registration

Women's soccer registration is now open. The first night of play is June 14 at the Haliburton Highlands Secondary School field by the train. The season will run through until October 4 with no games on holiday weekends. 

Public Notice of Council Vacancy

Following the appointment of a new Mayor on July 7, 2026, Council has declared the Deputy Mayor's seat vacant and will appoint a current member of Council to serve as Deputy Mayor until November 14, 2026.

A Deputy Mayor appointment will take place at the Regular Council Meeting on July 28, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. in the Council Chambers.
