Reduced Load Periods

Most of Dysart's roads are subject to reduced load periods, usually during the spring thaw when roads are weakest and most susceptible to heavy truck damage. Reduced load periods reduce the allowable weight of a vehicle to 5,000kg per axle while roads are posted. Vehicles exceeding these restrictions will be subject to penalties under the Highway Traffic Act, Section 122.
