"Thinking of Running for Council...Now What?"

Are you thinking about running for council, are a spouse or partner of a potential candidate, or just interested in hearing more about local government?

Join us for a Candidate Information Session on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 @ 6:30 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion in Haliburton at 719 Mountain Street. 

A practical workshop run by Clerks on Call will explain how municipal government works, the roles and responsibilities of Council members, and the ethical and legal obligations of public office. Participants will also learn about campaign requirements, time and financial commitments, and the realities of public life.
