Report a Concern

All complaints relating to a By-Law must be submitted to the By-Law Department in writing:

  • Submit a concern through our online Portal
  • Submit a letter (mail to By-Law Department, Municipality of Dysart et al, 135 Maple Ave, PO Box 389, Haliburton ON K0M 1S0)
  • Send an email (email bylaw@dysartetal.ca)
  • Pickup a complaint form (in-person at Municipal Offices, 135 Maple Ave, Haliburton)

You must include your contact information, the nature of the alleged complaint, where the complaint is located, and return contact information if you request a response.

Anonymous complaints are NOT accepted. We require accurate contact information to effectively follow-up on your complaint; for this reason anonymous complaints are not accepted.

All personal information is collected in accordance with the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.

Help keep our public parks beautiful, healthy and safe. If you see any maintenance issues or other problems that are occurring in Glebe Park or Head Lake Park, or a Dysart Public Boat Launch, please submit a concern through our Concerns Portal.

The Roads Department maintains 315 km of roadway within the Municipality of Dysart et al. These roadways are inspected frequently, but there could be issues we miss.

 

If you have concerns with Dysart roads, use the Report a Road Problem (Pothole, Damaged Mailbox) form.

If you are requesting a traffic road sign (for example, a stop sign, etc.) you need to send a letter to Dysart Council for their consideration. Click here for information on how to prepare your letter to Dysart Council.

If you need a new or replacement landfill identification user card, use the Request a Landfill Identification User Card form.
