Canoeing/Kayaking/Paddle Boarding/Boating
Always practice boat safety on the water. Do your part and wear your PFD. Drowning is preventable.

Make sure that you have a valid fishing license and you know what is in season for the lake you are fishing on.

The Haliburton Highlands Museum offers summer programming for children and youth.
A variety of hiking opportunities exist throughout the Municipality of Dysart et al and Haliburton County.

The A.J. LaRue Arena is home to a single ice pad which is in operation during the summer months. Beat the heat and cool off, by taking part in one of the many public skating sessions.
The Municipality of Dysart et al is fortunate to be home to so many camps and program in the summer. You can choose a day adventure, full week of day camp or overnight camps.
There are numerous walking trail opportunities. Start your journey at Glebe Park.
