Head Lake Park
Head Lake Park is located in the village of Haliburton along the shores of Head Lake. It provides a scenic backdrop for a family picnic, round of disc golf, stroll along the pathways, special events and so much more.
Permits are required to host a special event on municipal property. Visit our special events permit page to learn about booking your event today.
Free parking is available at the following locations at or near Head Lake Park:
- Head Lake parking lot (access from Highland Street or York Street)
- 78 Maple Avenue (library parking lot and lot across the street)
- 1 Park Street (easy access for tennis courts, outdoor fitness equipment, Rotary Beach)
- York Street (beside the 4 C's Thrift Shop
Please note: there is no overnight parking.
Vehicles towing snowmobile trailers are encouraged to park at the Park Street parking lot.
During the winter months, a section of Head Lake Park is marked off for snowmobile parking. Snowmobilers are encouraged to use this lot to access the shops and restaurants in the downtown core.
