Maple Fest at the Haliburton Highlands Museum

Looking for fun activities this March Break? The Haliburton Highlands Museum is the place to be all week long! Every day during the March Break, museum staff will be making maple syrup exactly as early settler to the Haliburton area would have, using our 115 year old say kettle! Also make sure to join us for special kids’ programming throughout the week! On Tuesday, March 13th, we’ll be hosting a Victorian Games afternoon and on Thursday, March 15th, the horses from South Algonquin Trails are coming for a visit – come out for a ride around the museum grounds! On Friday, March 16th, kids can get in the spirit for St. Patrick’s Day one day early with our super fun Life of a Leprechaun program. Don’t miss out on this sweet taste of spring happening all week long!...
