Construction for Haliburton Junction Skate Park began in the fall of 2017 and already the space is impressive.  In the spring of 2018 the final stages of construction will take place.  We anticipate that the park will be open for use in June 2018.

Beginning stages of construction.

The youth of this community and the members of the Haliburton Junction Skate Park committee are working tremendously hard, with the support of local organizations, businesses and individuals, to develop a variety of fundraising initiatives that will bring us to our final fundraising goal of $210,000.  We currently are $39,000 short of this target and could use your support to reach our goal by the spring of 2018.    Visit, like and share the Haliburton Junction Skate Park Facebook page and help make this a reality.

Thank you to Pasi Posti from Positive Media Solutions for creating the Haliburton Junction Skate Park video.  This video demonstrates the need for a new skate park and features the youth of our community.
