Dysart Library Meeting Room (Howard Roberts Room)

Due to COVID-19, the Dysart Library Meeting Room is unavailable for bookings until further notice.

The Dysart Library has a meeting room, the Howard Roberts Room, available for rent by not-for-profit organizations, charitable organizations and individual’s. The Dysart Library is located in the heart of Haliburton at 78 Maple Avenue, Haliburton, ON K0M 1S0.

Available for Rent during Hours of Operations

  • Monday: CLOSED*
  • Tuesday: 10:00 am – 8:00 pm
  • Wednesday: 10:00 am – 8:00 pm
  • Thursday: 10:00 am – 8:00 pm
  • Friday: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
  • Saturday: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
  • Sunday: CLOSED

* open Mondays 10:00 am – 8:00 pm in July and August


Regular Rental Fee – $40.00 minimum for up to three (3) hours plus $10.00 per hour thereafter (plus HST).

Not-for-Profit/Charitable Rental Fee OR Multiple Bookings* – $32.00 minimum for up to three (3) hours plus $8.00 per hour thereafter (plus HST).

Refund Policy: 50% will be refunded with two (2) weeks’ notice of a cancellation.

Group Size

The Dysart Library meeting room fits 15 – 20 people comfortably, depending on meeting type.

  • Projector – Inquire at Library
  • Pull Down Screen for Projector
  • Mugs and Cutlery
  • Coffee Pot
  • Kettle
  • Tea Towels
  • Dish Soap
  • Dish Cloth

Organization is required to supply their own coffee, tea, etc.

Organization is expected to clean up after rental.


Library parking is available on York Street and off of Maple Avenue.
