General Review – Zoning By-law 2005-120 The Municipality of Dysart et al is undertaking a review of its Comprehensive Zoning By-law pursuant to Section 26(9) and 34 of Planning Act R.S.0., 1990, c.P13, as amended.  The review will result in an amendment to the Zoning By-law to: a) Ensure the Zoning By-law conforms to the policy provisions of the Municipality of Dysart et al Official Plan, approved by the County of Haliburton on May 18th, 2018; and b) Ensure that the planning policies of the Municipality are current and address the needs of the community. Mayor’s Message for Summer 2020

The summer of 2020 is officially here and we have been enjoying some lovely weather. We have been living with the Covid-19 pandemic for over 3 months. Everyone has had to make changes to the way we live and work. I want to thank all our health care workers as well as those who support the vulnerable people in our community. You have risen to the challenge and we are truly grateful. As we head into this summer, we know many will be enjoying their cottage properties more than ever. We will also see many renters coming here as the short-term rentals were permitted by the Province. The message I sent out early May asked that people bring the supplies that they needed.
