COVID-19 Pandemic Update

April 9th, 2020 at 11:30 AM The Emergency Control Group would like to offer some information as we go into Easter weekend. Firstly, we understand that for many, this is typically a time to gather with family and friends. We would like to urge everyone to reach out to loved ones via telephone or video chat and restrict their face-to-face socialization to members of their immediate household. In the words of Queen Elizabeth, “we will be with our friends again, we will be with our families again, we will meet again”, but for now, we must sit tight. Please keep in mind that the Province has designated the entire legislated fire region of Ontario a Restricted Fire Zone, which means that all outdoor fires are prohibited in Haliburton County. Tax Due Dates Extended to June 30, 2020

THE MUNICIPALITY OF DYSART ET AL Changes in Tax Due Date and Other Taxation & Finance Information The 2020 Interim tax installment dates have been extended to June 30, 2020 without penalty or interest. Payment of Accounts: – Cash and Debit payments have been suspended; – Please refer to the following table for all other payment methods: The Municipal office drop slot is located to the left of the main door at 135 Maple Ave.  No cash is to be deposited in the drop slot.  If you are paying through online banking, search the payee list for “Dysart” or “Dysart Taxes”.  The ‘account number’ that you enter, is your 15 digit roll number listed on your blue tax bill.    If paying for multiple properties, please enter each payment separately using the distinct account numbers.  Note, property taxation payments are accepted...
