Snowmobiles Prohibited in Public Parks and on Sidewalks

Please be advised that snowmobiles are prohibited in Head Lake/Rotary Park and on all Municipal sidewalks.  In light of recent safety concerns where by sleds have been found travelling along the sidewalk on York Street including riding in the park and on the newly created skating oval, notices have been posted. Snowmobiles are asked to exit off Head Lake using the boat launch and park in the newly created snowmobile parking area across from the Caboose in the Head Lake Municipal lot.  We welcome all snowmobile enthusiasts to Haliburton Village and hope this will ensure safe passage for all. Your Co-operation is very much appreciated!...
