Haliburton Frost Festival 2017

Get out and experience winter!  Bring your family and friends to Head Lake Park on Saturday, February 18 between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm for FUN in the winter.  Try curling or a round of mini-putt on Head Lake.  Meet the groomer and volunteers from the Haliburton County Snowmobile Club.  Give broomball, snowshoeing, and cooking over a fire a chance.  For a full schedule of events click here. Taste Spring at the Haliburton Highlands Museum!

Maple Fest returns to the Haliburton Highlands Museum! From March 11th-19th, museum staff will be preparing old-fashioned maple syrup in a 115 year old sap kettle – make sure to try a sample! We’ll also have kids’ crafts and fun contests all week long as well as special drop-in programs for kids on March 14th (Victorian Games), March 15th (a visit with the horses of South Algonquin Trails) and March 17th (for St. Patrick’s Day). Battle of the Bands

The Battle of the Bands is a fundraiser for the Haliburton Junction Skate Park and a chance for musicians to showcase their talent. This is an all ages show that will take place on Friday, February 24, 2017.  The doors open at 6:30 pm and the show starts at 7:00 pm. Tickets are $10 each or $12 at the door.  A family rate is available for $30 in advance or $35 at the door.  Children under 8 are free.  Food will be sold at the event.
