Dysart Staff go back to HHSS

Last Thursday, a few representatives of Dysart et al went back to school.  Councillor Nancy Wood-Roberts, Director Of Planning and Development Jeff Iles, By-law Enforcment Officer Kristen Boylan and CAO Tamara Wilbee attended Careers Class at HHSS.  Dysart staff and council members have been participating in this program with HHSS for the past eight years and always look forward to the opportunity to speak with local youth about the local opportunities available to work towards careers in Municpal government.   They ask tons of great questions and are really engaged and we never have enough time.    Students were encouraged to reach out to Municpal Staff for opportunities for summer jobs, Coop placements and volunteer work to help develop their resumes and get a foot in the door.   Any students considering a municipal career are encouraged to come in...

Winter Parking Reminders

The parking meters in Haliburton are now covered to promote local shopping downtown. Also, a timely reminder with all this new snow, that there is no overnight parking allowed in any Municipal parking lot or on any road or turnaround to ensure there is no interference with normal snow removal operations. Please do your part to help our equipment operators keep the roads safe for everyone....

Remembrance Day Ceremony
