Teeny Tiny Summit coming to Haliburton in 2019

Mark June 7th in your calendars to attend the Teeny Tiny Summit being hosted at Camp Medeba. There are 5 Teeny Tiny Summits being held this summer throughout Ontario and the Haliburton venue is guaranteed to be great fun. These summits are about sharing and exploring the big ideas that come from small rural places like here (not Teeny Tiny Homes). Outdoor Skating Rinks

The outdoor rink in the Village of Haliburton is finally open and ready for use!  The Parks and Recreation staff experienced some delays in opening up the rink, after someone walked on the surface creating some large holes/bumps.  Thank you to all the help and support of the Rotary Club of Haliburton for making this rink a possibility.  We appreciate all of your effort!  Please note that shovels are available at the rink for clearing snow.   The “Rink closed, please stay off signs” have been removed. There is also an outdoor rink located in Harcourt behind the Harcout Community Centre.  Again we would like to extend a thank you to the volunteers that maintain the rink!  Without your dedication and effort this rink would not exist.  ...

Reminder: Parking Meters and Pay & Display Units are Operational

The holiday bags have now been removed from the Parking Meters and the Pay & Display units downtown.  This is a friendly reminder that paid parking is once again in effect.  Please note that when using the pay units on Highland Street be sure to display the printed receipt on the front dash of your vehicle.  Your co-operation is appreciated!...
