Haliburton Frost Festival 2017

Get out and experience winter!  Bring your family and friends to Head Lake Park on Saturday, February 18 between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm for FUN in the winter.  Try curling or a round of mini-putt on Head Lake.  Meet the groomer and volunteers from the Haliburton County Snowmobile Club.  Give broomball, snowshoeing, and cooking over a fire a chance.  For a full schedule of events click here. Taste Spring at the Haliburton Highlands Museum!

Maple Fest returns to the Haliburton Highlands Museum! From March 11th-19th, museum staff will be preparing old-fashioned maple syrup in a 115 year old sap kettle – make sure to try a sample! We’ll also have kids’ crafts and fun contests all week long as well as special drop-in programs for kids on March 14th (Victorian Games), March 15th (a visit with the horses of South Algonquin Trails) and March 17th (for St. Patrick’s Day).
