Start going through your closet or looking for ways to re-purpose that tacky sweater up on the shelf. The 4th Annual Ugly Sweater Run/Walk is fast approaching and we want you to be a part of the fun and festivities.  Book Sunday, November 27 in your calendar and reserve some time to spread Christmas cheer and show off your creative, goofy side. Time Is Falling Back this Weekend

The time change is upon us once again and in the world of Fire Departments, this is a call to remind residents and businesses to check your smoke and CO alarms to make sure they are still functioning as they should.  For anyone installing alarms in new construction, there are new rules requiring the addition of a strobe function to smoke and CO alarms to assist those with hearing impairments.   New combination units that provide all of these functions have just been brought onto the market, so you won’t find them easily on the shelves yet, but you can ask your local hardware to stock them and create more awareness at the same time!...
