ColourFest 2017 – Saturday, September 30, 11:00 am – 3:00 pm – Head Lake Park and Downtown Haliburton
Experience fall at its fullest as you take in the activities for ColourFest. Hosted by the Municipality of Dysart et al and the Haliburton BIA this event has something for everyone to do.

To take part in the Haliburton Rotary Club ColourFest Pumpkin Rolling Contest register and pick out your pumpkin between 11:00 am and 12:55 pm. The contest is free to participate in. The contest is open to all ages and their are prizes for each age category. The age groups are:
- – 5 years old and under
- – 6 to 9 years old
- – 10 to 13 years old
- – 14 years and over/adult
Take part in the Haliburton Highlands Museum Scarecrow building contest. There are three categories for scarecrows: best Canadian scarecrow, scariest scarecrow and most artistic/creative scarecrow. Build your scarecrow between 11:00 am and 1:45 pm.
We will have some decorations available or you can bring your own – scarecrows must be constructed in the park during ColourFest. Judging starts at 2:00 pm, don’t miss out – there are great prizes to be won!
If you wish, you can take your scarecrow home with you after judging!
