Glebe Park
Dysart is home to Glebe Park, a 60.7 hectare (150 acres) park located just 2 km from the Village of Haliburton. It is mostly hardwood forest, with several kilometres of trail available for non-motorized use. Enjoy Glebe Park in all four seasons! In winter, the Haliburton Nordic Trail Association maintains 10 km of ski trails for both classic and skate technique, and 1 km of lit trail for night skiing. There are also short snowshoe trails that leave from the Haliburton Highlands Museum. In non-winter months, trails can be explored on foot or mountain bike. The Haliburton Sculpture Forest is located in Glebe Park and provides a 1 km moderate walk with 20 original sculptures to admire. The Haliburton Highlands Museum is creating a natural arboretum that identifies numerous native tree species.
Glebe Park can be accessed from the Haliburton Highlands Museum or from the parking lot at Fleming College. Refer to the Head Lake Trail map for details. Please note that all recreational use of Glebe Park is limited to non-motorized activities.
