Planning Application Fees & Charges
Certificate of Occupancy Application$60.00
Deeming By-law Application$650.00 The fees includes the administration fee and a fee to register the By-law in the Land Registry Office for the County of Haliburton.
License of Occupation Application$300.00 The License of Occupation fee is considered a deposit towards the total cost to process the application.
Minor Variance Application$600.00 If the minor variance application is to be heard by the Ontario Municipal Board, the application fee is considered a deposit towards the total
Official Plan Amendment Application$2,000.00 The Official Plan Amendment application fee is considered a deposit towards the total cost to process the application.
Severance and Site Plan Agreement Application$1050.00 The Severance and Site Plan Agreement application fee is considered a deposit towards the total cost to process the application.
Subdivision and Condominium Agreement Application$2500.00 The Subdivision or condominium application fee is considered a deposit towards the total cost to process the application and register the agreement in theRegistry Office. The administration fee is $400.00.
Zoning By-law Amendment Application$1,000 If the Zoning By-law Amendment application is to be heard by the Ontario Municipal Board, the application fee of $850.00 is considered a deposit towards the total cost to process the application.
Road Closing Application (see also below)$1,000.00 The Road Closing application fee is considered a deposit towards the total cost to process the application.
The following set municipal costs will be invoiced back to the applicant upon passage of the road closing by-law:

   - Buildings on Road Allowance:$100.00 for each building encroaching allowance
  Legal FeesAs billed by the Lawyer.
  Survey CostsApplicant to arrange directly with Surveyor.
An additional deposit may be requested to cover the cost of any peer review required for supporting background studies or services provided by municipal consultant/solicitor. Work will not be completed by the municipal consultant/solicitor until such deposit has been paid by the applicant.

Responses to motor vehicle accidents on Provincial HighwaysFee pursuant to schedule established by the Ministry of Transportation.
Responses to motor vehicle accidents, including motorized snow vehicles and all terrain vehicles, on other than Provincial Highways$350.00 per hour or part thereof, per vehicle.
$200.00 per hour per vehicle on the 4th and subsequent hours.
No service required. $350.00 flat fee.
Burning Permit$50.00 plus mileage.
