#OPPMayDay

The new OPP billing model may take another $5 million out of the County – without any service increases – and could result in tax increases of 20% – 36% across each of the four municipalities. Help us raise our voices against this flawed new model that is being proposed by the Government of Ontario. Please send an email, letter or tweet to Premier Kathleen Wynne and Minister of Community Safety and Correctional Services Yasir Naqvi, or call their offices to voice your opposition to this new proposed billing model. Go to: http://haliburtoncounty.ca/proposed-opp-billing-model/  to find more information about the proposed model, sample letters, contact information and tips on how best to communicate with politicians....
